Earvin Casciano, MSW, LSW, serves as a Group Facilitator at Advanced Health and Education, where he leads therapeutic groups designed to support individuals navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. His approach is grounded in empathy, structure, and evidence-based practice, helping clients develop practical coping skills and sustainable recovery strategies.
Earvin earned his Master of Social Work (MSW) with a clinical concentration from Florida State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Bloomfield College. His graduate training emphasized therapeutic listening, cultural sensitivity, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), all of which inform his work in behavioral health treatment settings.
In addition to his role at Advanced Health and Education, Earvin provides individual therapy services in a private practice setting, working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, and substance misuse. His professional background also includes crisis counseling through Crisis Text Line, social work internship experience with youth experiencing homelessness at Covenant House Georgia, and extensive service work through AmeriCorps and the Peace Corps, where he supported community development and youth empowerment initiatives.
Earvin is particularly passionate about reducing stigma surrounding addiction and mental health and increasing representation within the social work field. His long-term professional goal is to support U.S. military service members and their families in addressing trauma, substance misuse, and separation-related stressors. He strives to create therapeutic environments that are inclusive, culturally responsive, and rooted in dignity and respect.
Through group facilitation and individual therapy, Earvin works to empower clients to strengthen their emotional awareness, build resilience, and move toward healthier, more stable lives.
