Theresa Marsh, MSW, ADC Intern, is a Group Facilitator at Advanced Health and Education specializing in substance use treatment and recovery support. Theresa is committed to fostering accountability, skill development, and peer connection in the recovery process.

Tess Marsh, serves as a Group Facilitator at Advanced Health and Education and is a Master of Social Work intern with a clinical background in mental health and substance use treatment. She provides both individual therapy and group facilitation, supporting clients in developing insight, coping skills, and sustainable strategies for recovery.

Tess holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The College of New Jersey and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at Walden University. She maintains an active Alcohol & Drug Counselor (ADC) Intern credential in the State of New Jersey and works under clinical supervision as she advances her professional licensure.

Her clinical approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and grief-informed care, with additional focus on emotion regulation, anxiety management, and values-based goal development. Tess utilizes a collaborative, strengths-based framework to help clients increase self-efficacy, improve emotional awareness, and build the practical skills necessary to actively engage in their mental health and recovery process.

Tess is particularly passionate about helping individuals develop resilience, autonomy, and confidence as they move toward meaningful and self-directed change. Through structured group facilitation and individualized support, she strives to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel empowered to take ownership of their growth and long-term wellness.
